She needs care for everything. She constantly has to drink several medicines just to cope with the pain. She wishes to be released from this but her family and her caretaker do not allow this.
Their decision is governed by their beliefs that when you die you should only die when it is ‘time’; when that time is anyone’s guess. Not enough people are paying attention to the fact that it is the choices of the patient that should be respected and prioritized. After all, they are the ones that are undergoing the extreme change in their life.
